Our decramastic roof was looking rather tired after 35 years and needed a recoat. Ben Thompson of Kowhai, came and recoated it and now it looks great. He even went that extra step and painted our chimney while he was up there. We were surprised when Ben called us to say we had won the Draw, we didn’t think little ole Gisborne could compete with the big cities. Well done Kowhai.

When we purchased our home in 2010 we spent time investigating different roofing companies to see who we would like to go with to restore our roof- after weighing up our options we decided on Kowhai Quality Coatings.
We received excellent service from quote through to completion of work by Steve Bickerton and would happily recommend Steve and Kowhai products to other home owners! I would like to express my thanks to John and Dean of your Auckland Branch. 12 months ago I built a large implement shed too close to a Radiata shelter belt on my orchard. As a consequence, my gutters filled with Pine Needles and down pipes blocked completely. In the space of 6 hours, John and Dean had cleared the gutters and the blocked downpipes, increased the fall on the horizontal portions of the downpipes, and installed GutterGuard to protect my shed from Pine needles in the future.
I was so impressed by their efficiency and professionalism that, on my recommendation, my son is having Kowhai Coatings renovate and recoat the decromastic roof at his home in Pauanui.
I am sure that the quality and workmanship will be to the same high standard.

In April 2011 Kowhai removed the textured ceiling from our Living room, dining room, hallway including stairwell and three decent sized bedrooms. Fortunately the texturing wasn’t asbestos but Kowhai still treated it as if it was. All the rooms were fully and securely sheeted so that the removed material did not fall on to any of our furniture, TV, HiFi, beds, etc. We then had the ceilings coated using a PVA sealant and a white paint finish. It was all professionally done by Alan, the Kowhai operative.
We were very pleased with the work done and with the honesty and impartial advice given by Alan and Keith, the Kowhai salesperson who originally sold us the service. The final result was exactly what we wanted and expected and was very diligently completed by Kowhai. Well done".

When we decided to have the roof of our flats in Thames repainted I found Gavin Bond at kowhai roof coatings to be very helpful and professional. As I don't know alot about roof coatings and I wanted good protection as they are near the Firth of Thames Gavin inspected the roof and gave me a detailed quote on not only painting the roof but cleaning and rechipping it.
Value for money I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use Kowhai again.

I would like to express my appreciation to Darren’s team of Kenray Roofing (Kowhai Coating) in Wellington. For the wonderful job they have done on my roof - from fixing the leaks to painting the whole roof.
I started looking for someone randomly on the internet to fix some leaks on my roof. I sent an enquiry at the Kowhai roofing website and got a call from Darren the next day, he confirmed he could get it fixed the next day. I was very happy with the quick response. I decided to go ahead with the roof painting given that they have done an excellent job on fixing the roof.
Once again the team has done another excellent job, I was informed of every task that they did, and everything was done professionally, now my roof looks very good.
