Hi, I’m Warren McCarthy, your local `Kowhai Guy’ for Manawatu. I have lived in the Manawatu area all of my life. I started my working life as an apprentice builder and carried on in building until I took a change and spent four years in plumbing. It was from there that I started into roof restoration and finally it became my full time job. I have been in roofing now for over 30 years. During that time, I have worked for Carter Holt and another roofing company Solar Chem.

I started with Kowhai over 15 years ago and I am not only the longest serving Kowhai Guy, I am also their longest serving Kowhai area Licensee. I still enjoy coating roofs and I get great satisfaction in transforming old tired roofs back to `as new’ condition. I look forward to being of service to you.
